Wednesday night I attended Bronx Lebanon’s annual fundraising gala. I don’t think I’ve gone gown shopping since prom, so I was pretty thrilled and only mildly stressed while looking for one. I decided the perfect place to shop for a gorgeous, unique evening gown was Reve Boutique in Englewood, NJ where they carry gorgeous gowns, exquisite party dresses, and really cute (and affordable!) casual daytime attire. I only tried on two gowns before falling in love with this black Holt dress. Needless to say, I left with more than I came in for, but I am very happy with my purchases.
For my makeup look, I decided to compliment the neutral tones of my dress with the eye makeup. I used the Naked Basic palette: W.O.S. on the lid, Naked 2 and Faint in the crease. For a touch of sparkle, I used Mac Honey Lust as an accent. I decided for an evening look, a small flick would be appropriate which I did with Laura Mericer’s creme liner in Noir. I used Too Faced bronzer in Pink Leopard for a little bit of a rosy shimmer and a neutral Paula Dorf lipstick to finish off the look. Simple, elegant.
